Last week, Anna Winkler, Senior Consultant at :response, attended the European Business Nature Summit and returned from the event highly motivated. The event was all about nature – and for good reason!

After extensive discussion on “Why businesses need to care about nature?” during COP15 in Montreal last year, the time has come to measure impacts on nature and develop strategies accordingly. Strategies to avoid, minimize, restore and offset environmental impacts related to human activities on water, biodiversity and nature as a whole.

The event was organized by the European Commission together with Etifor, the Forum for Sustainable Finance, the European Platform for Business and Biodiversity and the Regione Lombardia. It took place in Milan at Palazzo Lombardia.
