Would you like to prepare a declaration on the German Sustainability Code, or a report according to the criteria of the German Sustainability Code?

As a DNK training partner, we will be happy to support you! The GSC can also help you to prepare for your future reporting obligations under the CSRD.

What is the DNK?

The German Sustainability Code (DNK) is a reporting standard developed by the German Federal Government’s Council for Sustainable Development. Those who submit a declaration on the German Sustainability Code report on 20 criteria from the areas of strategy, process management, environment, and society. In addition, there are 29 indicators inspired by the international standards of the Global Reporting Initiative. Legal reporting obligations (e.g. from the CSR Directive Implementation Act) can also be covered by the GSC.

The declaration on the German Sustainability Code offers companies the opportunity to report on sustainability according to a standard – which is highly recognised, especially in Germany – and to prepare for their reporting obligations under the CSRD. The DNK declaration is formally checked by the German Sustainability Code Office.
