On behalf of the German Council for Sustainable Development (RNE) and the Association of Communal Enterprises (VKU), :response has created industry guidelines for the German Sustainability Codex (DNK) aimed at businesses in the energy sector. A task force of representatives from public utility companies across Germany came together under the organisation and consultancy of :response to draft the document. The process further involved a stakeholder dialogue with participants from the areas of politics, associations, businesses, environmental protection and social organizations and research – developed and moderated by :response.
