As part of the first Sustainability Consulting Benchmark 2026, the sustainability consultancy :response was awarded the highest accolade, “Highly Recommended”. This immediate entry into the ranks of the leading consultancies in the DACH region is a significant endorsement of the entire team’s day-to-day work.
This award is particularly significant for us, as it provides an authentic reflection of the reality in the market. Only our customers made the decision and we were completely unaware of it. The results are based on anonymous assessments by sustainability managers in the DACH region. It is an accurate indicator of market sentiment.

Background to the benchmark methodology
The sustainability consulting benchmark is based on an independent survey of more than 700 sustainability managers in the DACH region, in which a total of 175 consultancy firms were assessed. What makes this industry ranking unique is that no consultancy was informed in advance or asked to encourage clients to submit a rating. It represents entirely unbiased feedback from the field, with no ‘pay-to-win’ mechanisms whatsoever.
