Carbon Pricing

This year Germany saw the introduction of a Carbon Pricing Scheme for fossil fuels. Energy based on such resources are expected to see significant price increases for consumers – thereby rendering climate-friendly energy more profitable in comparison.
As renters often have no influence over their heat supply, the German government has decided that half of the resulting added costs should be carried by landlords.
